I’m a caring mum who enjoys supporting children as they learn and grow. I love creating fun, meaningful activities that encourage confidence, curiosity, and creativity.

My home is warm and family focused with a safe backyard, plenty of toys, a small garden for children to explore and play in, and a quiet space where they can rest or enjoy calm activities. I enjoy doing creative and playful activities with children, such as arts and crafts, story time, music, dancing, outdoor play, and simple gardening. We also do made-up games and learning activities that encourage imagination and social skills.

I take children to local playgroups, parks and library sessions to build friendships and connect with the community. We also join family event and explore nearby places for fun learning experiences.

I believe every child is unique and learn best through play in a safe, caring and supportive environment. My goal is to help children grow with confidence, kindness and curiosity while developing strong relationships with others.

Makara has been fully safety screened including a face to face interview, police vetting, identity verification and has been fully inducted.  A full risk assessment has been undertaken to ensure she is safe and suitable to work with young children. This assessment is made when they first started with us and periodically thereafter.
