Tracy

Tracy is Mum to two school aged children and has been involved in Home Based childcare for around 15 years. Tracy holds the NZ Certificate in ECE - Level 4.

Tracy’s home environment has a good size backyard with a swing and slide set, sand box, playhouse and climbing frame. Her home also has big decks for riding scooters on and a sheltered area for wet days.
Tracy loves to include daily outings to local parks and the beach while also going on bush walks, and attending play group and community play groups. At home there is lots of outdoor play including water play and messy play and she always has plenty of art supplies ready for the children. With a love of singing with the kids there is always music or audio books in the background and also quiet time with lots of reading.

Located nearby are lots of local walks, parks and bush walks which Tracy enjoys taking the children to.

Tracy believes that less is more and enjoys allowing children to use their imaginations. She loves letting the children take the lead and follow their interests. She believes that being outdoors surrounded by natural materials is where children blossom and find themselves.

Tracy is a longstanding, well respected Educator who has been fully safety screened including a face to face interview, police vetting, identity verification have has been fully inducted.  A full risk assessment has been undertaken to ensure she is safe and suitable to work with young children.
