I am a caring and responsible home-based Educator located near Shamrock Park area in East Auckland. I provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating home environment where children feel secure, supported and encouraged to learn through play. I value building positive relationships with children and their families and focus on supporting each child's individual development, routines and well being.
My home is safe, clean, and welcoming for children. I have a designated indoor play area for learning, reading, and creative activities. I also have a garden that provides outdoor space for physical play and exploration. Safety measures are in place, including secure doors, covered power points, and safe storage of hazardous items. I aim to create a calm and nurturing environment where children feel safe and supported.
I provide a range of age-appropriate activities such as reading books, storytelling, arts and crafts, drawing and painting, puzzles, music and singing, and pretend play. Children also participate in outdoor play in the garden, including physical activities and nature exploration. I encourage routines such as free play, quiet time, and group activities that support children’s learning, creativity, and social skills.
We head out on short walks in the neighborhood, visit local parks and playgrounds, and outings to the library or playgroups when appropriate. These activities help children develop social skills, physical abilities, and confidence while exploring their community safely. All outings follow safety guidelines and supervision at all times.
I believe every child is unique and learns at their own pace. I provide a safe, caring, and inclusive environment where children feel valued and respected. I support learning through play, positive guidance, and strong relationships. I encourage children’s independence, confidence, and well-being while working in partnership with families to support each child’s development.
Saima has been fully screened and vetted as part of the onboarding and approval process. Saima is currently studying towards her Level 4 NZ Certificate in ECE.
