Rhonda

I am a Mum to 3 adult children and and a Grandmother of 2.  I have worked in the ECE sector for around 30 years.  I am ECE qualified with the NZ Certificate in ECE - Level 4.

I have a large backyard with swings, a slide, small trampoline and an outdoor shed foll of equipment such as ride on toys, bikes etc.  There are lots of opportunities for children to enhance their gross motor skills and being active. We enjoy celebrating language weeks, Matariki and have lots of art and craft activities available.

We like to get out and about in the local community and can be found at the library, attending playgroups, music and storytimes, parks, bush walks etc. 

I aim to provide a safe and happy home environment which is similar to a child's on home.  I believe in peers working and playing alongside each other promotes social competence and independence which are necessary skills in preparation for school.

Rhonda is a longstanding Educator and has been fully safety screened including a face to face interview, police vetting, identity verification have has been fully inducted.  A full risk assessment has been undertaken to ensure she is safe and suitable to work with young children.
