Rachel lives in The Meadows, Flagstaff and has been involved in Home Based Education and Care for over 28 years.
Rachel has two grown daughters and is a Nana to 3 beautiful grandchildren, who are her world. Rachel values family and friends highly, while being a part of an active community who value and support the health and well-being of children.
Rachel makes the most of local parks and events within the Kids at Home programme, attending our Kids At Home playgroup, gymnastics and termly special events. These groups support children’s development and learning, all while having fun in a social environment.
Rachel encourages her care children to be independent learners and support one another.
Rachel is a longstanding Educator and has been fully safety screened including a face to face interview, police vetting, identity verification and has been fully inducted. A full risk assessment has been undertaken to ensure she is safe and suitable to work with young children. This assessment is made when they first started with us and periodically thereafter.
Rachel's qualifications and experience includes:
* First Aid Certificate
* Level 4 Early Childhood Education and Care NZQA
* Completed Introduction to Family Day Care Orientation, through the Waikato Polytechnic
* Over 20 years experience in Home-Based Education and Care
