I have a lot to offer at my home with dedicated play areas for children which are well resourced. We have active areas outside in our big, fully fenced yard and quieter spaces for children to read and relax. Activities are purposefully provided to meet the strengths and interest of the children in care.
Living so close to Yatton Park, we are regular visitors during all seasons, there's just so much to explore and learn there. Other regular outings include heading along to Greerton library, lots of local walks, nature play, toddler time and local playgroups when we can. Bus rides are also a feature of our programme where we head off into town to activities at the library.
Sharing and nurturing families values and beliefs underpin my philosophy to ensure children feel safe, welcomed and included in our group of friends. All children past and present become an important part of my life and I enjoy seeing how they are doing in school after they have finished their time with me.
Rachel is a longstanding Educator and has been fully safety screened including a face to face interview, police vetting, identity verification and has been fully inducted. A full risk assessment has been undertaken to ensure she is safe and suitable to work with young children. This assessment is made when they first started with us and periodically thereafter.
"I am pleased to write this letter on behalf of Rachel, I am a Mum of 3 month old twin boys and a four year old daughter. Two and a half years ago my family and I moved here to Tauranga and one of my goals that I wanted to pursue was to study and gain a Diploma within the tourism industry.
I wanted my daughter, around 18 months old at the time to be part of a childcare group that both her and I were comfortable with. I had no interest in sending my child to a childcare centre, I wanted to her be in care that was able to provide her with one on one attention. I was given 3 names and numbers, the first was Rachel's who came highly recommended.
We arranged a meeting immediately and as soon as I pulled into her driveway, there was an instant attraction to her through her home and environment. It was warm, friendly and felt creative. Even before I met Rachel face to face, I knew right away that she was the one who was going to take care of my daughter.
During our introduction, everything was sealed, my daughter was so comfortable with Rachel and her home. On the spot I agreed to have Rachel as my daughters 'day Mum'.
Rachel has shown us the following strengths and qualities: * Patience * Creativity * Bright and bubbly personality * Good listener * Friendly * Great energy
Our daughter gained many skills while in care with Rachel that has been well past her age level from counting, colour recognition, writing, art work, memory skills, math concepts and so much more. She has always loved going to Rachel's and was always bright and positive. Smiles and cuddles all round.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Rachel as a child care provider for any other family in need of day care services. With her background experience and strong abilities to connect with children, she can definitely offer everything a family would be looking for in a provider.
Thank you Rachel".
