Kia Ora,
My name is Sara! I have worked with preschool-aged children since 2007.
I love being outdoors and getting amongst nature and taking walks with my care children.
I have been doing Home base for 18+ years. I love knowing I have contributed to each of my career children's learning experience. I share my home with my Husband, between us we love getting outside hiking and exploring new places, we are both avid photographers.
We look forward to welcoming you and your child into our little family!

Qualifications:

* 18+ years experience in ECE
* First Aid Certificate
* Level 3 certificate in ECE

I offer a safe, warm environment where we are all valued and contribute to our day. We have a indoor space to explore each of our learning journey and an outside space for physical development and natural exploration.
We also enjoy nature walks, outside play, sensory exploration, art activities, free play and exploration. We attend playgroups, and catch up with other educators for play dates and social interactions.

We often explore a number of parks and playgrounds in our area which allows children to develop physically. We have a close-knit group of Educators that meet up for playdates where the children form close relationships with each other and learn social skills that will serve them well throughout their life.
We love our nature walks where we get to explore our natural environment. We attend playgroups which is a great environment extending our social skills.

Every child should have the opportunity to learn at their own pace in an environment that supports them. We are all different and all learn differently and I like to think I make it fun and exciting while nurturing each child's interests and learning journey.

Sara is a longstanding Educator and has been fully safety screened including a face to face interview, police vetting, identity verification and has been fully inducted.  A full risk assessment has been undertaken to ensure she is safe and suitable to work with young children. This assessment is made when they first started with us and periodically thereafter.
