'I believe that every play moment has the potential of being a learning experience'.
I'm Tracy and I have been a Home-based Educator since 2001, when my son was 2 years old. I consider myself to be a calm, nurturing and patient person, but also can release the inner child within, to create noise and silliness.
I live on Whatawhata road in Dinsdale, yes, it's a busy road but I'm fortunate to be on a service road alongside Whatawhata road. This means getting in and out of my driveway is easier than you might think.

I provide a safe, secure and stable environment where children can learn with and alongside others while discovering new information, developing communication, learning independence and nurturing some social skills.

We have music/movement sessions every day and have opportunities to attend play and gym groups (at no cost to parents), also getting out to playgrounds and going on walks in the community. I have many playthings and resources to keep minds and bodies busy and challenged.

I value what children have to say, so they can contribute to their own learning and together we can create an interesting and fun environment for all. Every month there are goals and learning outcomes that are documented on Storypark. These are individual stories for each child and they are based on what a child is interested in at the time and what milestones they are achieving.

Tracy is a longstanding Educator and has been fully safety screened including a face to face interview, police vetting, identity verification and has been fully inducted.  A full risk assessment has been undertaken to ensure she is safe and suitable to work with young children. This assessment is made when they first started with us and periodically thereafter.
