Hi my name is Alesha (Lesha). I am a proud mum of three. My oldest is 17, middle is 13, and my youngest is 5 months old and will be joining us each day. I have really enjoyed watching my children grow and their journey. I look forward to also being part of other children's learning journeys. I can't wait to welcome your little one into our home!
Inside we have a bright, sunny and cosy play space, with resources for each age. There is also a deck off the main play space for messier play and exploration. Outside there is a large outdoor space to have fun, run, explore, and many new adventures. I also have veggie gardens, where children learn to grow vegetables and various things and can take home to share and enjoy with their family.
Our days are filled with arts and crafts, painting, baking, imaginative play, bush walks, outdoor adventures, regular play groups and community activities.
We venture out regularly to local parks, and I attend regular community run play groups which support social competency and belonging.
I became a home-based educator because I love helping children learn, grow and build confidence. I believe this happens in a safe, happy, nurturing environment where children feel loved and valued.
The organisation has undertaken a full safety screening process including police vetting, children's worker interview, identity checking and more. This is completed initially and periodically thereafter. The service deems Alesha safe to be working interdependently with young children.
