Experience

I am a caring and enthusiastic home-based educator who enjoys supporting children’s learning and development in a warm and positive environment.

I have experience caring for children in France, the United Kingdom, and New Zealand, which has helped me develop a flexible and confident approach to childcare. Being bilingual, I value clear and supportive communication with both children and families.

As a parent to my own two-year-old child, I also bring personal experience and understanding of young children’s needs, development, and daily routines.

I hold a healthcare certificate and feel confident supporting children’s wellbeing. Creating a safe, calm, and reassuring environment is always a priority for me.

I am naturally positive and adventurous and enjoy encouraging children to explore the outdoors, stay curious, and build confidence through new experiences.

I also have a strong passion for baking, which I love to incorporate into fun, age-appropriate activities. Hands-on experiences like these help children develop creativity, independence, and practical life skills while having fun.

My goal is to provide a nurturing and supportive environment where children feel secure, happy, and inspired to learn through play.

Home Environment

My home provides a warm, safe, and welcoming environment for children. We have a dedicated playroom filled with engaging activities, as well as a covered outdoor area for active play and fresh air. We also have a young, friendly dog who loves being part of the fun and enjoys spending time around children.
I provide a variety of activities that support children’s learning, creativity, and development. These include free play, arts and crafts, music and singing, reading stories, puzzles, imaginative play, and making homemade playdough together. I also enjoy doing simple baking activities with children, which are fun and help build confidence and practical skills.

Community Involvement

We spend time outdoors whenever possible, going for walks, exploring nature, and enjoying active play. I aim to create a balanced day with opportunities for learning through play, creativity, movement, and quiet time.

Childcare Philosophy

My childcare philosophy is to provide a warm and nurturing environment (home away from home) where children feel confident to explore and learn. I believe children learn best through play, curiosity, and positive relationships.

It is important to me to support each child’s individual development while encouraging creativity and independence. Building trusting relationships with children and their families is also a key part of my approach.
