Betu

Betu is a Mum to 2 children, has a High School Teaching qualification and is a Mama Rising certified facilitator.  She is also a qualified Home Based Educator holding the NZ  Certificate in ECE – Level 4.

Betu’s programme is multi lingual where English, Spanish and te reo Maori languages are supported within her group.
 She has an indoor area where there are ample resources for children to choose from. There are also regular opportunities for them to be involved in activities such as music and waiata, games, puzzles, construction, baking, imaginative play and arts and crafts. 
Betu has a large enclosed outside grassed area , big enough for children to run, kick a ball and bring their indoor play outdoors. She has an enclosed trampoline and  playhouse. There is a quiet space inside for rest and naps.

Betu believes in free play so children can explore a range of activities at their own pace and follow their interests. Kindness and respect are two of the most important things to Betu in her practice with young children and their families.  Creating a two way communication flow ensures relationships between families is healthy and children are well supported to grow and learn in a safe and loving environment.

Betu has been fully safety screened including a face to face interview, police vetting, identity verification have has been fully inducted.  A full risk assessment has been undertaken to ensure she is safe and suitable to work with young children
