I am a mother of three children, I live with my husband and two of these children with my two King Charles Cavalier Spaniels, I have been working in Home based childcare for over 15 years

I have a dedicated play space we call our Beehive, this is a standalone building located on our property in Balclutha. It includes a sleep room and a play area full of fun resources. It also has its own toilet and kitchen. Out the back we have a fully fenced yard that is a safe environment for children to grow and explore.
We enjoy reading and singing and dancing, science, painting and scissor work to build basic skills needed for young children. we have lots of costumes for dress ups and lots of different resources to accommodate the children. Outside we have a large sand pit, play hut, roller coaster and obstacles for children to climb all over and have fun.

We have fun exploring with lots of walks and adventures to local parks, we enjoy going to Mainly Music on Friday's and also have trips to our local library that is located across the road. We also like to go to events at the Town hall and Rec Centre.

My Philosophy is to provide a fun caring space for children to learn and be nurtured in a kind and loving environment, where I can guide and support them and watch them thrive.

As part of the onboarding process, Cheri has been fully screened to ensure we are satisfied that she is safe to work independently with young children. This screening includes a face to face interview, referee and identity checks and police vetting. A reassessment is completed periodically.
