Cheryl

Hi, my name is Cheryl and I am a Home Based Educator living in the Rototuna, Hamilton area.
I have always loved working with children and have done so far for more than 20 years. I started my Home Based childcare journey when my own children were babies.

As well as preparing the children for school, we like to sing, dance, and do kids yoga and Zumba, etc.
I understand how difficult it is to place your child in care and I would like to make the transition as easy as possible for you and your child.

We regularly attend outings and playgroups organised by our Kids at Home and Gingerbread Cottage team here in Hamilton. Attending the weekly gym sessions are also a highlight for us all.

I like to provide a relaxed environment where your child will be nurtured and cared for in a small group. I have a holistic approach to teaching the children in my care and encourage them to respect and develop a love for nature and all living beings. I encourage kindness and thoughtfulness toward each other.

Cheryl is a longstanding Educator and has been fully safety screened including a face to face interview, police vetting, identity verification have has been fully inducted.  A full risk assessment has been undertaken to ensure she is safe and suitable to work with young children.
Cheryl holds the NZ Level 4 Early Childhood qualification and a current First aid certificate.
