Experience

I am a dedicated and nurturing early childhood educator with four years of experience working in a centre-based childcare setting, followed by four years as a full-time mother to two young children. Alongside my hands-on experience, I hold a Level 5 Early Childhood Education Certificate, which supports my understanding of child development, routines, behaviour, and emotional well-being.
I am committed to providing high-quality care that supports each child’s holistic development and building strong, trusting relationships with families. I value consistency, open communication, and creating a safe, supportive environment where children feel confident and secure.

Home Environment

Our home is located on a spacious rural lifestyle block and includes a purpose-set-up classroom that is currently being set up for early childhood learning. The space is calm, practical, and designed to support play-based learning and everyday routines.
The property has large outdoor areas and a range of animals including alpacas, Black Valais sheep, pigs, cows, cats, dogs, and rabbits. These will be part of the learning environment and offer opportunities for children to connect with nature and develop empathy and responsibility.

Community Involvement

We value strong connections with families and our local community. Living rurally allows for a slower pace and a strong sense of belonging, where children can build relationships and social confidence.

Childcare Philosophy

I believe children learn best through secure relationships, play-based learning, and real-life experiences. My approach is child-led and responsive, recognising that every child develops at their own pace.
I aim to create a nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to explore. Through outdoor play, interaction with animals, creative experiences, and everyday routines, children are supported to build independence, confidence, and a love of learning.
As both an educator and a mother, I understand the importance of consistency, care, and connection. I work closely with families to provide individualised care that supports each child’s development and learning.
