I have been teaching for 9+ years and have my degree in Primary Education. I have worked most of that time in the junior school including New Entrants. I have 2 children, Addisyn, who attends Rakaia School and Archer who is a very social young lad. We love to welcome new friends here at Starting Wright Home Based Childcare.

I believe each child is unique and therefore should be catered to their individual needs and interests. With the small number in our Home Based setting, I am able to cater to each child's needs and help support each child to reach their individual goals.
Having a safe and welcoming environment where students can feel free to be themselves and feel safe to take risks in their learning and development is important.
Giving children the opportunity to grow and learn through play is a key objective in my care environment.

Kendall has been fully safety screened including a face to face interview, police vetting, identity verification have has been fully inducted. A full risk assessment has been undertaken to ensure she is safe and suitable to work with young children.
