Lisa

Hi, my name is Lisa! My husband’s name is Jon and we have two children in their teens.

I have been working with children for over 25 years, including nannying in London, Italy and America. I have been doing Home Based care with Kids at Home since 2009.

In 2020 I studied through Open Polytechnic and achieved my Level 4 New Zealand Certificate in Early Childhood Education and Care. I also have a current First Aid certificate which is renewed every two years, as well as a full driver’s license.
I have my own car seats to use for all the children in my care to make it easier for parents if you wish to provide your own car seat that is wonderful.

I am a warm and caring person and I provide a great home environment with lots of resources. Our home has great indoor and outdoor areas for the children to learn and grow.

My house is in Windermere, near Toi Ohomai – Institute of Technology, so I am perfectly placed if you are wanting to study, as well as centrally located for working parents who commute.

I love to provide planned activities and outings in our community such as Kids at Home playgroups and term outings. The children and I also enjoy library time, music and tumble time as well as visits to local parks and playgrounds.

Our ratio of 4 children to 1 adult means your child gets lots of one-on-one time and individual attention. As we can only have two children under 2 at any time means everyone is easily taken care of and no situation is too overwhelming for younger or shy children.

Lisa is a longstanding Educator and has been fully safety screened including a face to face interview, police vetting, identity verification and has been fully inducted.  A full risk assessment has been undertaken to ensure she is safe and suitable to work with young children. These checks are undertaken during induction and periodically thereafter.
Lisa's qualifications include a:
* Current first aid certificate
* New Zealand Certificate in Early Childhood Education and Care Level 4
