Mathra

I am someone who genuinely enjoys caring for young children and supporting their development. I am patient, nurturing, and organised, and I understand the importance of creating a safe, warm, and engaging environment. Through my experience, I have learned how to build trust with children, encourage their learning through play, and respond to their individual needs with care and respect. I have worked in a preschool and a daycare, caring for children aged 0 to 5 years. Through this experience, I developed the ability to support young children’s learning, routines, emotional needs, and social development in a safe and nurturing environment.

My home environment is warm, safe, and family-oriented. It is a place where children are cared for with love, patience, and routine. The environment is calm and supportive, which helps children feel secure and comfortable. There are spaces for rest, play, and learning, and I try to create a positive atmosphere where children can grow and develop well.

While children are attending care at my home, I provide a safe, warm, and engaging environment where they can learn and play. I offer a variety of age-appropriate activities such as reading, storytelling, arts and crafts, music, puzzles, sensory play, and outdoor play. I also support their daily routines, including meal times, rest time, and hygiene needs, while encouraging social skills, independence, and emotional wellbeing.
I participate in local events, mainly school-organised activities that support children and the wider community.

My childcare philosophy is based on creating a safe, caring, and positive environment where children can learn through play and feel supported as individuals. What is most important to me is kindness, patience, and building strong relationships with children and families, because I believe this helps children grow with confidence and security.

Mathra has been sully safety screened including identity, referee and police vetting. She has been through a comprehensive children's worker interview and it is our assessment that Mathra is safe and well equipped to work independently with children.
As a fully qualified Teacher, Mathra holds a Bachelor of Teaching ECE.
