Hi, I'm Michelle. I'm a Grandmother and great Grandmother with over forty years experience as a child Educator in a range of ECE settings such as Playcentre and previously owned and operated my own ECE centre. Home Based is where my passion lies and I have been providing this care for well over 10 years now.
I have a fenced front garden and grass area for children to run and play which is fully fenced with age appropriate resources for all children.
I have a small dog that the children talk to through the baby gate. She is safely away from the children while care and education is taking place.
We have art and craft activities set up each day. There are two large rooms where children can work and learn with a large range of resources.
We like to get out and about in the community and we see many opportunities to enhance learning outcomes.
I work with Te Whāriki, linking our outcomes and experiences back to the curriculum. I take time to get to know your child by observing them n the early weeks of care. I then work with their interests and individual passions to provide a programme that is rich in knowledge using the community to its fullest. I love to provide a variety of activities and tactile experiences for your little one to experience.
Michelle is a longstanding Educator with beautiful practice. She has been fully safety screened including a face to face interview, police vetting, identity verification have has been fully inducted. A full risk assessment has been undertaken to ensure she is safe and suitable to work with young children.
