Experience

Nadine is married to Shaun and they have 2 daughters- Nevaeh (2020) and Shilo (2017).
She has extensive experience working with pre-school children age 0-5 in kindergartens and childcare centres including 7 years in Dubai. She has been a home based educator for 3 years since moving to Waiheke.

Nadine has been an educator for 17 years. Experience in home based, daycares and Kindergartens in South Africa, Dubai and New Zealand. Diploma in Early Childhood development, Degree in Child Psychology, Extensive training in Play therapy.

Nature and Papatūānuku play an important part in her programme and the experiences that children are able to be part of.

Home Environment

Nadine home boasts free range chickens, guinea pigs, a rabbit and a friendly dog. Nadine enjoys a wide range of activities such as baking, arts and crafts.

Community Involvement

Nadine attends a number of community playgroups and preschool music groups with her tamariki. She is very close to Palm Beach and Te Toki Reserve where they visit on a regular basis.

Childcare Philosophy

Nadine believes that tamariki have a natural curiosity and drive to learn and explore, therefore she provides a wide variety of hands on experiences. She fosters a safe and happy environment based around strong reciprocal relationships between everyone in her setting. Nadine believes in treating children with respect and kindness and values and celebrates each individual child for who they are.

Service Statement

Nadine is a longstanding Educator and has been fully safety screened including a face to face interview, police vetting, identity verification have has been fully inducted.  A full risk assessment has been undertaken to ensure she is safe and suitable to work with young children.
