I am a fully qualified and registered ECE teacher, with over 20 years experience in childcare. I have raised 3 wonderful children who are now all young adults. It was having my own children that sparked my love and enjoyment in being part of a child's learning journey.
I have experience in home-based childcare, playcentre, daycare, kindergarten, and primary school.
My home is a warm caring and safe environment where children’s individual learning is recognised and extended on. I have a friendly dog called Ollie.
I have a sunny front yard with a playhouse, sandpit, deck, play and climbing equipment. I have a variety resources and play equipment for inside and outside.
Daily activities are based around child interests and who is attending on that day. Alongside the home based activities we do trips to the local library, playgrounds, schools and into the community.
We also enjoy outings to the local library, playgrounds, schools, shops, orchards, and neighbourhood walks.
I believe in learning through play within a calm and nurturing environment.
I strongly value strong relationships with the child and whanau so that the child has consistently in their care routines.
