Experience

Hi everyone, I’m Nicole.

I am a registered Early Childhood Teacher with a Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood Education). I have been working in Early childhood centers since around 2007 and am now celebrating operating my own Home- based childcare “Little Moo’s” which is in Helensville.
I have worked with children from birth to 6 years and in this time I have also worked alongside neuro diverse children.

As a mother myself ( my son now and adult) I know what it’s like to have to leave your child while having to work.

My goal is to provide a nurturing and supportive environment with children feel safe happy and inspired to learn through play.

Home Environment

I will provide a warm, safe, and welcoming environment for all children and families. As well as a large covered deck for outdoor actives and fresh air, we offer a chance for children to get up close with our 3 calves and a sheep which love to be fed.

Community Involvement

We spend time outdoors whenever possible going for walk and enjoying nature.
All children have opportunities to visit the local library and help plan for actives they would like to do.

Childcare Philosophy

Inspired by the gentle spirit of our Little Moo mascot, we provide a home-away-from-home where children can learn, grow, explore, and build meaningful relationships at their own pace. We recognise that the early years are the foundation for lifelong learning, and we are committed to creating experiences that support each child's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
We believe children learn best through play, curiosity, and hands-on experiences. By encouraging exploration, creativity, problem-solving, and independence, we help children develop confidence in their abilities and a love of learning.
