Experience

Hi, I’m Renae,
I would love to welcome your child(ren) into my home and support them as they learn and grow. After working in a range of childcare settings including; kindergartens, primary schools, and working with children who have special needs, I discovered that Home Based childcare is where my heart truly lies.
I live with my husband Steve, our daughter Marisha, and my parents Penny and Paul. We also share our home with a very chilled cat and a beautifully natured pup who has grown up around children.
Families stay updated on their child’s learning journey through Storypark, where I share photos, anecdotes, learning updates, and art projects. I also use a Messenger group to keep you informed about day-to-day matters.

I look forward to welcoming your whānau into ours.

Home Environment

A typical day here includes outdoor play, arts and crafts, nature play, music, reading, yoga, gardening, water play, and messy play. We incorporate daily use of te reo Māori and New Zealand Sign Language (NZSL).

Community Involvement

Through Kids at Home, we also enjoy regular excursions.. Other outings include visits to the library, trips to local parks and more.

Childcare Philosophy
