Shaynah

Kia ora, my name is Shaynah, and I am a home-based Educator in Omokoroa. I am looking forward to meeting you and your children and welcoming you into our home.

As a mother of two young children, it was difficult for me to find suitable care for my children, and I absolutely loved the idea of home-based care which felt like the perfect opportunity to help other families also. Both of my children started in Home Based care and I loved the one on one time they spent with their carer and watching their development in learning and social skills through Kids At Home.
Being a working parent previously, I absolutely understand the hours revolved around work and childcare and I am more than happy to discuss your requirements with you.

No day will the same in our home as I like to experience many different activities from arts and crafts, drawing and painting, nature bush walks, going to the playgrounds, playgroups, and gymnastics to baking yummy treats.

As I have a full license, we do head out to explore all the wonderful things Omokoroa and Tauranga  has to offer.

Shaynah is a well respected and longstanding Educator and has been fully safety screened including a face to face interview, police vetting, identity verification and has been fully inducted.  A full risk assessment has been undertaken to ensure she is safe and suitable to work with young children. This assessment is made when they first started with us and periodically thereafter.
