Kia Ora my name is Steph, I am Mum to 3 children. Tai, my oldest was in home-based care when he was a baby so l have experienced both sides, as a care parent and an Educator.
I have been part of the Kids at Home Team since May 2022.
I graduated Wellington Nannies College when I was 19, worked as a Nanny for a bit then my life changed course and I ended up in Hamilton where I have now lived for the past 15+ years.
I am in Forest Lake, a great central location and attend Kids at Home gym sessions and playgroups where possible. At home we have a variety of indoor-outdoor toys and equipment, books, puzzles and arts and crafts for the children to explore and create with.
I am available during term time and in the school holidays.
We have no pets.
I lead my programme with empathy and compassion, I believe how we talk to our children contributes to their mental health/inner voice as they grow up. Your child’s thoughts, feelings and emotions will always be validated under my care.
Steph is a longstanding Educator and has been fully safety screened including a face to face interview, police vetting, identity verification and has been fully inducted. A full risk assessment has been undertaken to ensure she is safe and suitable to work with young children. This assessment is made when they first started with us and periodically thereafter.
