Experience

I am a dedicated and nurturing childcare professional with over 5 years of hands-on experience working with young children in both home and school based settings.  As a mother to a one-year-old daughter, I bring both professional expertise and personal insight into the developmental needs of young children.
I am committed to delivering high-quality care that supports the holistic development of every child and builds strong, trusting relationships with families.

Home Environment

Our home offers a warm, welcoming, and calm atmosphere that nurtures children’s growth and exploration.  Located in a peaceful and secure space designed to support learning through play.
Children have access to a safe driveway where they can enjoy riding bikes and scooters, encouraging physical activity and outdoor fun.  Inside, the home features a vibrant and well equipped playroom filled with a variety of age-appropriate toys, learning materials, and hands-on activities that promote creativity, problem solving and imagination.  The backyard is a true highlight, showcasing scenic natural beauty that adds a sense of calm and connection to nature.  Children can engage with a dedicated vegetable pit, where they experience gardening and a flower garden that encourages sensory exploration and care for living things.
Outdoor play is further enriched with slides, bikes, and balls-making movement based activities exciting and developmentally beneficial.  Whether indoors or outside, the environment is thoughtfully designed to provide a balanced mix of fun, safety, and learning opportunities.
I offer a wide range of engaging and age-appropriate activities are offered daily to support children's learning, development, and enjoyment.

These include:
🛝   Outdoor Play: Slides, bikes, and balls provide opportunities for physical activity, balance and coordination.

🖍️  Creative Activities: Colouring books and open-ended art experiences encourage creativity, fine motor skills and self-expression.

🧩  Cognitive Play: Puzzles, blocks, and construction toys help develop problem-solving, concentration and spatial awareness.

🔡  Early Learning Games: Fun and interactive number and letter activities support early  literacy and numeracy in playful ways.

🎶  Music and Movement: Musical sessions, including Zumba-inspired movement, build rhythm, coordination and confidence.

🚶🏽‍♀️ Community Walks: Regular walks to the local park allow children to explore their surroundings, connect with nature, and engage in outdoor discovery.

Each activity is thoughtfully chosen to nurture the whole child—physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually—within a fun and supportive environment.

Community Involvement

Little feet, big adventures! We occasionally step out to explore parks, local events, and child-friendly happenings in our community. These fun-filled experiences help children grow socially, discover new interests, and enjoy the world beyond our playroom.

Childcare Philosophy

I believe that children learn best when they are actively engaged in meaningful play experiences. In my home-based care, I provide a nurturing environment where every child feels safe, valued, and free to explore at their own pace.
My approach is child-centered and play-based, recognising that play is the natural language of children.  Through hands-on activities, imaginative play, outdoor exploration, and creative expression, children develop the foundational skills they need for life—socially, emotionally, intellectually, and physically.  I aim to create an environment that supports curiosity, encourages problem-solving, and celebrates each child's unique interests and abilities. Whether it’s painting, building, singing, dancing, riding bikes, or digging in the garden, every moment is seen as an opportunity to learn.

As an Educator and a mother, I understand the importance of love, consistency, and connection.  I work closely with families to provide individualised care that honours each child's personality and pace of development. Together, we build the foundations for confident, capable, and joyful lifelong learners.
