Visiting Teachers — Canterbury

Emma – Bachelor of Teaching (ECE), Post grad in Leadership (ECE)

Emma believes strongly in Home Based care and the way it supports tamariki to form deep, reciprocal relationships. She treasures the peaceful environment it offers, giving children room to develop social skills and emotional balance. She is excited to meet everyone and partner together to create uplifting, creative surroundings for tamariki.

Evie – Bachelor of Teaching (ECE)

Evie is convinced that all tamariki deserve access to high-quality education and care, which prepares them to become lifelong learners. She believes home-based education offers a secure, nurturing, and intimate environment where children can thrive and develop in a home-like atmosphere, fostering trusting and reciprocal relationships.

Jess – Bachelor of Teaching (ECE)

Jess believes that home-based ECE offers high-quality learning and care within a small group setting. This approach allows tamāriki to develop close, nurturing, and trusting relationships with their Educator. In this environment, tamāriki can engage in activities that cater to their needs and interests, while enjoying a range of experiences within the comfort of a home setting.

Kimberley – Bachelor of Teaching (ECE)

As a Visiting Teacher, Kimberley's role is to empower, support, and guide our amazing Educators in crafting an environment tailored to each child's unique personality and learning requirements. She works in partnership with Educators, providing resources and developing ideas to help them reach their fullest potential. Kimberley truly enjoys fostering a sense of community in the region by creating opportunities for Educators and families to connect. They organize regular playgroups and spend quality time exploring the outdoors and their communities together.
